I stand by the People of Taleh

I am ashamed and saddened by the recent atrocities by the forces of Puntland in the historical city of Taleh (currently the capital of Khaatumo State). I condemn Puntland administration for taking a naked aggression against our brethren in Taleh City. Puntland must respect the local communities in Taleh and In Khatumo, Puntland must uphold the local beliefs, norms and local metaphors! Instead of attacking Taleh, Abdisamad Ali Shire and the Puntland administration must attempt to attract their people, must try to win the hearts of the people and NEVER attack the people of Taleh . Please Don’t Attack them! Please do not create hatred amongst us.

We may be of different administrations but we are one people after al l! At a time when people of Khaatumo were engaged in sending relief support to people of Puntland after the cyclone, I cannot understand nor could I accept the logic behind the attack against people of Taleh If his Excellency the president and vice president of Puntland intend to create an enmity between our people , I would say NO to them , NO to Dulimi, NO to Fitna.

As an individual, my heart goes out to my people,  the people of Kahaatumo. I challenge the politicians, the leaders and the royal Issims to condemns the Fitna in Taleh. I personally feel ashamed, unrepresented by the Puntland administration.

Finally, I challenge Issims of Puntland to condemn the attacks against Taleh and take a strong position. I should NOT even remind them to do so!
