The development of a political power system reflects upon the values and the ways in which a society thinks of itself and the world. It also relates to the fundamental right to own and propagate an exclusive identity that comes with an unquestionable respect. The world reacts positively to the establishment of a bureaucratic system, having characteristics like hierarchy and chain of command. In other words, international community deals with fully structured governments in Somalia.
The upcoming convention in Taleh is geared toward creating a modern framework of government with sustainable procedures for leadership succession. An emerging political system will probably consist of legislative, Judiciary and the executive. There will be much excitement about the creation of a legislative branch, but passing the first law by a Khatumo assembly will cause the highest emotional state. The people are looking forward to a structured system whose authorities intend to deliver services and consolidate administrative control of the state’s territorial jurisdiction.
Everywhere, loyal Khatumites are prepared to attend the Convention en masse as it will be a historical event that will lay the foundation for a solid administration with full-fledged governmental institutions. It is inconceivable to miss out on the formation of a constitutional order that represents the essence of one’s existence. Diasporas are expected to go to Taleh long before local participants reach the venue and witness the inauguration of the 2nd regime of Khatumo State.
The Diasporas from all continents are encouraged to converge in Taleh to show their commitment to the objectives of the convention. They must hold seminars, workshops, and presentations on good governance to minimize the obsession with clan-based power sharing. As most of them will be coming from the developed world, they will have the advantage of transferring their knowledge by teaching the value of consensus driven political culture where voting decides the course of action.
Adopting contemporary political system enables the state to organize civil societies, allocate resources, and formulate policies that can improve standards of living. This can be made possible by leaders that fully comprehend today’s political difficulties and have the competencies to determine the future direction of Khatumo State. The Diasporas may be able to supply such qualified individuals who could dwell on effective and non-corrupt public administration.
All capable compatriots should volunteer to run for positions in the anticipated establishment. This will furnish the system with much-needed human resources. Skilled workforce and technocrats can definitely create functional institutions, and help the State achieve its challenging goals with lightening speed. Khaatumo Forum strongly urges members of the Diaspora to change the course of history by joining the new government.
