MPP Kristy Duncan of Etobicoke North, Ontario, Canada, representing Canadian Government has recognized Khatumo State of Somalia in a recent gathering of Khatumo community in Toronto Canada. The Audience erupted with applause as Kristin Duncan welcomed all the guests and expressed hope for Somalia’s new government and its provincial states including Khatumo State. It has been a few weeks since international recognitions for Somalia’s Federal Government came pouring in from superpowers such as the United States, Britain, Canada, Norway and More. Toronto along with Minnesota is home to one of the largest Somali communities in the diaspora.

Too much chatter In the coffee shops and internet chat lines, Uttering mere condemnations against Khatumo is the work of the lazy. God will NOT judge you on how many ideas or things you have destroyed; God will judge you on how many things you have built up. Khatumo truly reignited the collective imagination of its people while safeguarding the security of its citizens. From water projects, and student scholarships to opening up the skyways of SSC region, Khatumo has already arrived, It is here, and will always be there for future generations of this land. After all you cannot put the toothpaste back into the tube.
