At around 2:00 PM local time, President of Khatumo administration Mohamud Jamac Indho-sheel along with dozens of dignitaries including Members of Parliament from the Somali Federal Government arrived with style in Buhodle’s Ismail Mire Airport. Under tight security by the Khatumo Army and local Police forces, the atmosphere was jubilant and orderly_a testimony to the maturity expected of an established regional State; Thousand of khatumo people lined up the sidelines of this sand baked Airstrip just to get a glimpse of this historic moment; wrapped around the blue Somali and Khatumo Unionist Flag, and chanting Khatumo traditional folk songs, the eloquent First Brigade_Guuto 1aad displayed their poetic supremacy as they shook hands with their leaders. (see below)
It is the first time since January 12, 2012 when the Khatumo Administration was established in the City of Taleh through the Grand Congress of the people of Sool Sanaag and Cayn that Somali’s Federal MP’s visit this region. It is expected that this delegation will soon head to Taleh to participate in the long awaited Khatumo 3 conference where elections for a new President, a Vice President a new Constitution and local khatumo State MP’s will be ratified.
Thanks to the Khatumo Administration for its resiliency and moral leadership despite the continued Undermining and challenges posed by neighbouring administrations of Puntland and Somaliland both of which illegally occupy parts Khatumo lands.

Meanwhile, in Buhodle City, diverse business owners from all regions of Somalia set up shops in Khatumo State’s Buhodle city. When people are free and safe, when people are able to decide their own destiny, when engaged citizens exercise their self governance and choose to uphold their Darwish and Somali Unionist traditions, then miracles can happen; Free from oppression and suppression of free markets, Watch how Businesses are booming, bazaars are filled with products never traded in the past; from sweet breads and Halwa’s to gold and other luxurious items that fill the displays in colourful shops and factories.

New and small markets emerging in all neighbourhoods. Opening up of new Universities and private colleges and clinics_ a testimony to rapid developments in higher education and Health services. And when projects under construction include Airports and roads…The future economic development looks brighter for the citizens of this Khatumo city.
